Emma Sykes
«Emma Sykes is a women’s football expert having worked in the industry for the last 10 years focusing on its development at a pan-European level. Emma joined UEFA in 2011 to work within UEFA’s National Association Division working on funding programme to member associations and on operational roles via UEFA’s competitions.
Now, as UEFA’s Senior women’s football development manager, Emma leads the development, monitoring and implementation of UEFA’s women’s football strategy. Through the strategy the women’s football team coordinate all activities across the organisation and sets common goals and objectives. Her role involves the close working and collaboration with UEFA’s member associations, stakeholders, and partners to develop and professionalise women’s football through specialised project initiatives and research.»
