One of the world’s foremost media industry figures and speakers, on topics ranging from football’s power to unite and change society, to the future of technology, James provided an authoritative voice on events at the FIFA World Cup in Russia through his interviews with Al Jazeera, CNN, and Sky News.
He has appeared on stage for nine years running at the Cannes Lions Festival of Creativity, featured in BIMA’s prestigious Top 100 for each of the past three years, and was recently selected as one of the top Leaders Under 40 in sports business. James also contributes to a range of publications including The Times, Independent, Guardian, HuffPost, CityAM, Radio Times, and Q magazine.
James sold Holler, his digital advertising business, in 2010 to advertising holding company Publicis Groupe and Leo Burnett London. He was then Leo Burnett Worldwide’s head of mobile and social, leading the social media and mobile capabilities of the advertising network for clients including Procter & Gamble, McDonald’s, Coca-Cola, and Kellogg’s, before joining COPA90 in February 2016.
