Assia Grazioli-Venier

Assia Grazioli-Venier is a media executive, investor, and advisor to high-growth tech startups, entertainment companies and venture capital firms.

A sought-after digital media strategist and innovation consultant to international organizations and leaders, Assia sits on the board of directors of Italy’s legendary Juventus Football Club (listed on Borsa Italiana). Appointed in 2012, she is the first female and youngest board member to serve in such a role in the 120-year history of the club. Now on her 7th year on the board, Assia has served as member of the Control and Risk committee for 6 years, and on the Remuneration and Appointments committee for 3.

In 2016, Assia launched Muse Capital with her business partner Rachel Springate. Muse Capital is a Series A consumer focused fund that operates as a bridge between Silicon Valley, the brand world and entertainment industry. The fund’s mandate is such that they focus heavily on partnership level business development efforts to bring value to the entrepreneurs in the form of accretive partnerships with Celebrities, Influencers, HNWI’s, and F500 companies. Their portfolio include: Firefly, Catalyte, BeautyCon, Mayvenn and Clarity Money, sold to Goldman Sachs in 2018.

Until she started Muse Capital in 2016, Assia was also on the board of advisors of Northzone, one of Europe’s leading technology investment partnerships whose portfolio includes Spotify (NYSE:SPOT) and iZettle, sold to PayPal in 2018.

From 2010 Assia was senior advisor to Spotify for over six years, where she was involved in global strategic initiatives that contributed to Spotify’s growth and innovation. From M&A to strategic partnerships, Assia helped launch Spotify in numerous markets, supported the build out of the Artist Services division, and helped Spotify forge growth and revenue inducing strategic partnerships for the company.

Assia has a BA with Honors from Barnard College, Columbia University in the City of New York, and completed the London Business School’s Emerging Leaders Programme.

As of September 2018, Assia is a venture advisor to the MBA programme at Columbia Business School of New York, and sits on numerous committees spearheading diversity in business and throughout venture ecosystem. Assia also sits on the board of Impact46, an impact investment fund/advisory firm.

Born in Rome and raised in the US, Assia is fluent in four languages and has lived in New York City, London, Milan and Stockholm. She currently lives in Los Angeles. She is a proud breast cancer survivor.
