Stefano D’Anna
Stefano D’Anna is President of Footballco, the world’s largest football content and media business. Prior to founding Footballco with CEO Juan Delgado, D’Anna was co-founder and Managing Director for Perform Group (now Stats Perform) and EVP of DAZN Media, from which Footballco emerged in late 2020 with backing from Integrated Media Company (IMC), an affiliate of US private equity giant TPG.
In his role as President, D’Anna is responsible for the growth of the content, strategy, creative and media sales parts of the company, which includes the consumer proposition for brands and business partners as well as the evolution of Footballco’s media products, which include Goal, Voetbalzone, Spox, and Calciomercato.com, as well as the worlds largest in-stream sports video player, FC Player. D’Anna’s also responsible for the introduction of new Footballco brands, such the youth-focused NXGN which has evolved from Goal’s annual NXGN awards and content series.
Reaching more than 400m fans a month in seventeen languages, Footballco is home to the world’s most popular digital football outlet, Goal, and leading local sites including Calciomercato.com (Italy), Voetbalzone (Netherlands) and Spox (Germany). As well as being a leading football publisher, its global commercial teams work with brands to find their voice in football and engage fans across the world.
Footballco’s client roster is home to some of the biggest brands and clubs in the world, having worked with Santander, EA Sports, Sevilla FC, Kia, and Budweiser and many more.
