Santander is the official sponsor of LaLiga, UEFA Champions League or the CONMEBOL Libertadores
Santander, a brand that is a synonym of football throughout the globe, has renewed its agreement after successfully being part of WFS18. As sources of the banking institution have explained in several occasions, sport in general and football in particular, represent values such as the search for success through teamwork, constant innovation and commitment, values that are part of the organization’s DNA.
Last year Santander teamed up with Common Goal to deliver an insightful panel on the power of football to drive social development. This topic will be in the center of Santander’s participation in WFS19. The banking institution will be hosting a discussion on “Football Can”, the slogan created by the brand to explain the bank’s support for football, the sport with the greatest impact on society and the ability to improve people’s lives.
Prisa Noticias, a business unit of the world’s leading Spanish and Portuguese-language media group in the creation and distribution of content in the fields of culture, education, news and information, and entertainment, is joining WFS19 for the first time.
Over 80 million daily readers across the globe
Prisa Noticias publishes El País, the top-ranking Spanish-language media outlet, with more than 80 million readers across all its editions; As, the world’s leading Spanish-language sports title, with 23 million readers worldwide, and Cinco Días, Spain’s veteran business and finance newspaper. These three outlets will be Media Partners of WFS19 for the first time.
The company is also responsible for other leading editorial products such as El HuffPost, Icon, S Moda or Retina. In total they add up almost 7 million daily unique users, a big part of them in Latin America.
WFS is delighted to welcome these two leading brands on board, both of which will undoubtedly contribute to strengthen the quality of our event, and is looking forward to work together in order to seize the enormous opportunities that both partnerships can provide to all parties involved in the agreements.
