“Since being appointed LaLiga President in 2013, Javier Tebas has led the Spanish League on a journey of constant growth and evolution based on financial controls, centralised sale of broadcasting rights and a definitive strategy of internationalisation.

Under his leadership, LaLiga has led the way in terms of innovation and technology, launching their own OTT – LaLigaSports – as well as developing tools such as Mediacoach, an algorithm-based Calendar Selector, and a Sunlight Broadcasting Planning tool.

The organisation is also at the cutting edge of the battle against piracy, sharing its know-how with Dorna Sports, Belgium’s Jupiler Pro League and the Spanish government’s Ministry of Culture.
