World Football Summit is proud to introduce the Female Leaders in Football initiative, an ongoing commitment to honor women in football throughout the year. In this article, we will delve into the main features of the initiative, highlighting how you can participate, stay updated, and engage with this empowering movement.

Celebrating Women in Football Year-Round:

Unlike other initiatives that focus solely on International Women’s Day, “Female Leaders” is dedicated to showcasing and supporting women in football on a continuous basis. We firmly believe that every day is an opportunity to acknowledge women’s achievements, talent, and expertise in this dynamic industry.

Integration in WFS Activities and Content:

At WFS, we are committed to promoting gender equality and inclusivity in football. The Female Leaders in Football initiative is intricately woven into the fabric of our events, podcasts, and content. Throughout the year, we invite inspiring women from the football industry to share their experiences and insights on our WFS Podcast, ensuring their voices are heard. Moreover, we proudly feature quotes and highlights from women who have participated in panel discussions during our events, ensuring their valuable perspectives are widely recognized and celebrated. This is still a growing initiative and further actions will be part of it in the upcoming months.

WFS Europe, A Special Experience for Female Leaders:

Our flagship event, WFS Europe, serves as a focal point for the Female Leaders in Football initiative. In fact, on our 2022 edition, we made a pledge with Women in Football to have, at least, 30% of all our event’s speakers to be women in the industry. We’re proud to say we surpassed that goal with a solid 34%.

For the first time ever, we are introducing a special ticket exclusively designed for women in the industry. This ticket not only provides a 2×1 Delegate Pass, enabling you to bring another woman from the industry along, but also offers an exclusive networking session where you can connect and collaborate with other female leaders. Additionally, a unique workshop will be conducted, providing valuable insights and practical strategies to further enhance your professional journey within the football industry.
