Community activation: "Academia de fútbol para niñas"
The collaborative football session at Academia Mezquital brought together Common Goal, She Wins México, SOMOS Equidad, Club Tigres, and local government institutions to create a vibrant space where girls could experience football as a tool for confidence-building and leadership development. This activation demonstrated how partnerships between global organizations, local clubs, and community groups can create immediate impact while building long-term relationships.

SOMOS Equidad’s powerful photo exhibition showcased the voices and experiences of women in football across Latin America, transforming WFS Monterrey into a platform for cultural visibility and dignity. The traveling collection repositioned football as a space of opportunity and ownership for women and girls, demonstrating how major events can amplify grassroots narratives and drive cultural change.
Strategic dialogue: Industry leadership panels
The panel discussion “Gender Equity in American Football: Building a Unified, Inclusive Future” created meaningful dialogue between organizations operating at different scales, from local community programs to regional movements. This conversation exemplified the commitment to connect business strategy with social impact, providing industry leaders with concrete examples of how football can drive systematic change.
Building from experience: An open workshop to shape the future
