WFS Monterrey showcased a mature approach to social responsibility, reflecting nearly a WFS Monterrey showcases a strategic alignment between WFS’s established Female Leaders Program and Common Goal’s community-focused approach, creating a comprehensive platform that addressed gender equity from multiple angles: industry leadership development, community-level programming, and systemic change advocacy.

Community activation: "Academia de fútbol para niñas"

The collaborative football session at Academia Mezquital brought together Common Goal, She Wins México, SOMOS Equidad, Club Tigres, and local government institutions to create a vibrant space where girls could experience football as a tool for confidence-building and leadership development. This activation demonstrated how partnerships between global organizations, local clubs, and community groups can create immediate impact while building long-term relationships.

Cultural storytelling: "En la Cancha: Mil Mujeres, Mil Historias"

SOMOS Equidad’s powerful photo exhibition showcased the voices and experiences of women in football across Latin America, transforming WFS Monterrey into a platform for cultural visibility and dignity. The traveling collection repositioned football as a space of opportunity and ownership for women and girls, demonstrating how major events can amplify grassroots narratives and drive cultural change.

Strategic dialogue: Industry leadership panels

The panel discussion “Gender Equity in American Football: Building a Unified, Inclusive Future” created meaningful dialogue between organizations operating at different scales, from local community programs to regional movements. This conversation exemplified the commitment to connect business strategy with social impact, providing industry leaders with concrete examples of how football can drive systematic change.

Building from experience: An open workshop to shape the future

Moreover, in an exclusive and intimate setting, Common Goal Co-Founder Jurgen Griesbeck and Colombian footballer Natalia Gaitán discussed the future of football in Latin America with an encouraging line of thought: football holds untapped potential to become a collective engine for justice, unity, and impact.
