His public sector career began in 2002 as Litigation Coordinator for Banrural. He served in various roles, including Compliance Officer at Rural Financial, and held several positions in the Finance Ministry (SHCP).

Before joining Tigres he was the Chief Operating Officer for the MEXICAN FOOTBALL FEDERATION and Mexico´s leader for the organization of the 2026 FIFA World Cup to take place in the United States, Canada and México. He was the President of CLUB DE FÚTBOL AMÉRICA from 2017 till 2019 where he also held different managerial positions for several years.

Davor Šuker, born in 1968 in Osijek, Croatia, is a legendary striker and Croatia’s all-time top scorer with 45 goals in 68 matches. He starred at the 1998 FIFA World Cup, winning the Golden Boot and leading Croatia to third place. At club level, he played for NK Osijek, Dinamo Zagreb, Sevilla, Real Madrid, Arsenal, West Ham, and 1860 Munich, scoring 203 goals in 448 appearances. He later served as president of the Croatian FA (2012–2021) and was named to the FIFA 100 by Pelé.
