World Football Summit (WFS) has entered into an exclusive partnership with M.A. Sports, led by Founder and CEO Majed Al-Ali, to strengthen its presence in Saudi Arabia and drive the platform’s long-term growth in the region. The partnership marks a key milestone in WFS’s commitment to fostering the development of the sports industry in Saudi Arabia and across the broader region.
Through this partnership, M.A. Sports will serve as WFS’s exclusive regional partner for Saudi Arabia, working to elevate WFS Riyadh as the flagship summit in the Middle East and to establish year-round engagement with local and international stakeholders across football, investment, media, and innovation.

Majed Al-Ali brings two decades of experience bridging global expertise and Saudi execution, including 17 years in senior commercial and executive leadership roles at Saudi Aramco, where he helped deliver some of the Kingdom’s most iconic national projects. Today, through M.A. Sports, he plays a pivotal role in connecting international rights holders, investors, and brands with Saudi Arabia’s fast-evolving sports ecosystem.
“We’re at an extraordinary moment for sport in Saudi Arabia” said Majed. “My role is to ensure that the ambition, talent, and vision here connect with the best minds and organizations in global sport, so that what we’re building becomes part of something truly global, with Riyadh at its core.”
The collaboration represents a strategic expansion of WFS’s footprint in the Middle East ahead of landmark events such as the AFC Asian Cup and the 2034 FIFA World Cup, reinforcing the platform’s mission to foster innovation, investment, and collaboration within global sport.
Jan Alessie, Co-Founder & Managing Director of World Football Summit, said: “The global sports industry needs direct access to what’s happening in Saudi Arabia right now, and vice versa. Majed gives us that — someone with credibility and deep local knowledge who can connect our community with the right people, the right opportunities, and the meaningful conversations.”
This partnership underscores WFS’s strategic focus on the Middle East as a key pillar of its global expansion, with Saudi Arabia at the centre of that vision.
