World Football Summit and Major Events International join forces to increase connectivity & networking across the football industry.
About the collaboration
World Football Summit (WFS) is holding the seventh edition of its flagship event, WFS Europe, in Seville on September 20-21st to which Major Events International (MEI) will attend along with representatives of their global community; WFS and MEI will strengthen their collaboration to support the objectives of both organizations. MEI is launching an inaugural football city forum as part of their multi-sports and other iconic events in Lausanne at their annual summit, which will take place on June 15th.
With the women’s 2023 World Cup this year, and preparations for the UEFA euros and the 2026 World Cup moving into full mobilization, the WFS and MEI relationship seeks to provide support to the numerous agencies and stakeholders involved in the delivery of iconic international football tournaments and events.
World Football Summit
Since its conception in 2016, World Football Summit has hosted 16 events across the world, which has attracted more than 21,000 attendees from some of the biggest organizations such as Meta, Chelsea FC, FC Barcelona, as well as other thousands of companies, football clubs, leagues and federations from around the world. Today, WFS has become the largest platform that connects the global industry.
Major Events International
MEI is holding the 6th edition of its annual Hosts and Federations Summit at the Olympic Museum in Lausanne, Switzerland. Here they will provide a platform for host cities, international federations, and expert suppliers to engage at the heart of the Olympic Movement, with a rich program where they will share expertise, challenges, and solutions.
