Changing the business of women’s football and enhancing its social impact

Winner: Mary Earps
This award by GREAT recognised trailblazers reshaping football through bold ideas, disruptive thinking, and fearless leadership.
Mary Earps, England and Manchester United goalkeeper, was honoured for her influence on and off the pitch. Her voice, resilience, and advocacy redefined leadership in women’s football.

Winner: Bidaideak Bilbao BSR

This award by Fundación BBK celebrated initiatives using sport to drive meaningful change beyond the pitch.

Bidaideak, the Bilbao-based wheelchair basketball club, was recognised for its work promoting inclusion, accessibility, and social justice through sport. Their efforts have made a lasting impact on the local and national community.

Winner: Susan Dorrell
Presented by FC Mother, this award honoured individuals who have created long-term, structural change in the game.
Susan Dorrell was celebrated for her lifelong dedication to advancing gender equality, opportunity, and visibility for women in football.

Winner: Markel Zubizarreta
This award recognised outstanding leadership and innovation in football operations.
Markel Zubizarreta, former Sporting Director of FC Barcelona Femení and current Sporting Director at Kyniscan, was honoured for building some of the most successful and influential women’s football projects.

Winner: Athletic Club Legends
In partnership with UN Etxea, this award honoured the women who laid the foundations for the women’s section of the club.

Their legacy was celebrated as a vital part of football and the city’s history.
